Now we are proud to announce that Contel has received world class certification of ETL (Intertek) as per UL (Underwrite laboratories)

UL (Underwriters Laboratories) is a safety consulting and certification company headquartered in Northbrook, Illinois USA. It maintains offices in 46 countries. UL was established in 1894 and has participated in the safety analysis of many of the last century’s new technologies, most notably the public adoption of electricity and the drafting of safety standards for electrical devices and components

UL provides safety-related certification, validation, testing, inspection and auditing, advising and training services to a wide range of clients, including manufacturers, retailers, policymakers, regulators, service companies and consumers.

ETL (Electrical Testing Laboratory) specializes in electrical product safety testing, EMC testing and benchmark performance testing. ETL operates more than 30 offices and laboratories in six continents.

The new certification applies to Contel Automation and its subsidiary Meitav-Tec and relates to the following services and products:

  • Instrumentation Panels including Gas Analyzers panels.
  • Control panels mainly for A-B RA control products, including Logix and PlantPax systems, Communication Switches by RA, Cisco industrial Switches and Belden Garrettcom products.
  • UL/ ETL Electrical MCC Motor Control Center up to 3×600 Vac, 600 amps.
  • Meitav-Tec HVAC controllers developed and manufactured by Meitav-Tec itself.

Contel provides you with product/project design, shop drawing and high quality panels, including full QA & QC by testing 100% of the panel components and including hot tests using dedicated computerized software and testing equipments.
